In this unique experiential workshop you will have the opportunity to explore the nature, meaning, and use of dreams among shamanic peoples, with dreamwork practices from a range of cultures. Researched and developed by Michael Harner, subjects to be covered include shamanic dream theory and big dreams, as well as dreams and the soul, spirits, shamanic journeys, the Dreamtime, and the vision quest. You will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge to contemporary life, including the use of dreams in divination, health, and healing.

On August 14, 2010, at the first public offering of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Shamanic Dreamwork workshop, San Francisco, California, Michael Harner presented his recently formulated "A Core Shamanic Theory of Dreams."

Prerequisite: The FSS Basic Workshop. The Basic Workshop is the prerequisite for the advanced weekend workshops and training courses with Dr. Michael Harner, or other faculty members of The Foundation for Shamanic Sudies.

Instructor: This workshop is taught by Robbie Staufer, FSS Faculty Member, who is a graduate of the FSS Two-Week Intensive Training, and the Three-Year Program in Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing. She has been studying and practicing shamanism for 15 years. She teaches all of the FSS weekend workshops in Colorado, and is assistant faculty for the West Coast Two-Week Intensive and the West Coast Three-Year Program in the Bay Area. She facilitates a core shamanic drumming circle, and sees clients in her private practice, Spirit Canoe Shamanic Healing, at the Boulder Center for Conscious Community (BC3).

How to Register: Regular tuition is $295, with an early registration discount of $270 through October 20th.

Cancelation Policy: Decisions about potential cancelation of workshops are made based on enrollment as of two weeks in advance of the workshop dates. This is necessary to accommodate the cancelation policies of our venues, and to allow people who have registered and made travel arrangements to cancel them without penalty. If you would like to join us for this workshop, you are strongly encouraged to enroll by November 17th.

The Foundation for Shamanic Studies reserves the right to cancel any of its workshops or training courses, or the participation of anyone, at any time, for any reason. In such a case, fees paid in advance will be refunded. If you cancel your enrollment two weeks or more prior to the workshop, we will refund any money you have paid.
