  Description: In this unique experiential workshop you will have the opportunity to explore the nature, meaning, and use of dreams among shamanic peoples, with dreamwork practices from a range of cultures. Researched and developed by Michael Harner, subjects to be covered include shamanic dream theory and big dreams, as well as dreams and the soul, spirits, shamanic journeys, the Dreamtime, and the vision quest. You will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge to contemporary life, including the use of dreams in divination, health, and healing.

On August 14, 2010, at the first public offering of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Shamanic Dreamwork workshop, San Francisco, California, Michael Harner presented his recently formulated "A Core Shamanic Theory of Dreams."

Workshop times are Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5:30pm.

Prerequisite: the FSS Basic Workshop, The Way of the Shaman®, with an authorized FSS Faculty Member.

 

How to Register: Regular tuition is $315, with an early registration discount of $295 through November 5th.
Tuition for Foundation for Shamanic Studies faculty is $158.

Instructor: This workshop is taught by Robbie Staufer, FSS Faculty Member, who is a graduate of the FSS Two-Week Intensive Training, and the Three-Year Program in Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing. She has been studying and practicing shamanism for 18 years. She teaches all of the FSS weekend workshops in Colorado, and is assistant faculty for the West Coast Two-Week Intensive and the West Coast Three-Year Program in the Bay Area.
Robbie offers long-distance healing sessions and house clearings, and sees clients in her private practice, Spirit Canoe Shamanic Healing, at the Boulder Center for Conscious Community (BC3).
 

Cancelation Policy: Decisions about potential cancelation of workshops are made based on enrollment as of one week in advance of the workshop dates. This is necessary to accommodate the cancelation policies of our venues, and to allow people who have registered and made travel arrangements to cancel them without penalty.

The Foundation for Shamanic Studies reserves the right to cancel any of its workshops or training courses, or the participation of anyone, at any time, for any reason. In such a case, fees paid in advance will be refunded. If you cancel your enrollment two weeks or more prior to the workshop, we will refund any money you have paid.
